Taco Dump Soup

Recipe Taco Dump Soup

Alright people... It's time..

Lets do this...

First recipe/blog post ever!!!!! For my first post I am going to share my favorite go to EASIEST recipe in the world. I am not kidding. It's almost too easy.. And you can add SO MANY variation to the soup to make it your own.

Here we go!

Taco Dump Soup-

{Because you literally just dump everything into the crock pot}

{I got all my items at Trader Joe's but you can get them anywhere!}

- 1 Can of Black Beans {Drained}

- 1 Jar of Salsa {Whatever flavor floats your boat. I love the chipotle flavored ones}

- 1 Can of Corn {Drained} {For mine I always use 1 bag of the Trader Joes Mexican Style Roasted Corn from the frozen section. It comes with seasonings and its delicious!}

- 1 8 oz Block of Cream Cheese cut into pieces

- 1 onion chopped {Because I love onion but not crucial in the recipe}

- 1 Container of Chicken Stock {32 oz}

- 1 pack of chicken OR a rotisserie chicken {I have used both at one point & both work perfectly!}

- 2 Tablespoons of Taco seasoning

- 2 Tablespoons of Garlic {I love garlic. But if you aren't a fan then definitely add less}

- Avocado

-Cilantro Chopped

-Mexican Blend Cheese

-Hot Sauce

To cook:

Okay here is the tough part...

Open all packages and cans AND....... Dump all ingredients into the crock pot and stir. Cook on low for about 2 hours, until chicken is cooked. If you are using already cooked chicken you can shorten the time.

And thats it! Before serving shred up chicken in crock pot & stir ingredients together.

To garnish I serve it with fresh avocado, cheese and cilantro. I personally like to add hot sauce as well. Its a little thicker so I love to eat it with tortillas or chips. YUM!

Seriously so easy and nothing to it. The recipe is fool proof & goes a long ways. We usually have it for left overs the next few days.

How I pictured it:

How I really ate it:

{On a side note. Pictured in the ingredients is the Trader Joes Handmade Corn Tortillas. You will notice they are not included in the recipe because they smelled HORRIBLE so I threw them away. And I would feel terrible recommending them to anyone. So go with your favorite tortillas.🙌🏻😂}

Hope you all enjoy & please let me know what ya think!!
